7: Master’s Thesis Update!

No Thomas Aquinas this week, because life is crazy and grad school is crazier! So instead, I'm giving y'all a no-notes, off-the-cuff update on what my master's thesis is about and how it connects to things that are still happening today. 

Content Warning and Historian's Note: To maintain historical source accuracy, the term "cross-dressing" is used to refer to women who wore men's clothes in the context of the early modern period. We would like to note that today, these folx would fall under a variety of categories, including but not exclusively: lesbians, trans men, masc-presenting women, and non-binary people. We do not condone the use of, and do not use this term, or other outdated terms, to refer to any person outside of this very specific historical context.
